Motorized Kayak Alternatives

Not all kayaks are motorized and non-motor options include pedal kayaks and paddle kayaks. 

Pedal kayaks are a great option for recreational paddling and fishing. Hands-free kayaking means your legs are propelling the kayak. Pedals have you controlling your kayak’s position with your legs and rudder steering handle.

Paddle kayaks generally offer more room for kayakers. Without the addition of a pedal drive, your legs have more room and there is more room for gear. Many kayakers prefer this option since they can pack more fishing equipment, hunting accessories, snacks and beverages.
